London based stylist and creative director, Matt King, graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009. His love for London's underground nightlife, fashion and music scene and the freedom of expression that goes with it, has lead him to develop work across fashion, film, music and performance. He has been commissioned by publications including British Vogue, Dazed and Nowness, as well as musicians Anna Calvi, Ashnikko, Brooke Candy, Tom Odell and Zebra Katz, to name a few.
King’s connection to underground culture has lead to a unique sense of style that mixes an authentic blend of music and club culture references. His signature aesthetic is recognisable for its minimalistic and clean execution, with a punk attitude throughout.
He is co-founder of SORT: A multidisciplinary studio focused on independent film with annual print publication 'SORT Zine' at its core. SORT is born out of London's queer club community and celebrates underground culture through collaborations with like-minded artists, brands, musicians and publications. www.sort-studio.co.uk
