London based stylist and creative director, Matt King, graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009. His love for London's underground nightlife and the freedom of expression that goes hand in hand with it, has lead him to develop work across fashion, film, music and performance. He has been commissioned by publications including British Vogue, Dazed, Nowness as well as musicians Anna Calvi, Ashnikko, Brooke Candy, Tom Odell and Zebra Katz to name a few.
King’s connection to underground culture has lead to a unique sense of style that mixes an authentic blend of music and pop culture references. His signature aesthetic is recognisable for its minimalistic and clean execution, laced with a punk attitude throughout his work.
He is co-founder of SORT & SORT ZINE: a multidisciplinary studio focused on independent film with an annual print publication at its core. SORT is born out of London's queer club community and celebrates underground culture through collaborations with like-minded artists, brands, musicians and publications. www.sort-studio.co.uk
